The GE Fanuc CPU374 Plus TCP/IP Ethernet Communications Module offers a built-in enhanced Ethernet interface and is part of the Series 90-30. The CPU374 PLUS provides TCP/IP communications with Series 90, PACSystems, and VersaMax PLCs, host computers running the Host Communications Toolkit or CIMPLICITY software, and computers running the TCP/IP version of the programming software. These communications use the GE Fanuc SRTP and Ethernet Global Data (EGD) protocols over a four-layer TCP/IP (Internet) stack. The Ethernet interface has SRTP server capability. As a server, the Ethernet Interface responds to requests from devices such as PLC programming software, a Host computer running an SRTP application, or another PLC acting as a client.
